Dormitory #2 of Hongik University Seoul Campus is a 24-story school dormitory which was built at the university’s expenses and has the best dwelling facilities, convenient facilities, and the most advanced systems in Korea.

Dormitory #1

  • Subjects : Undergraduate students
  • Scale : Six stories above ground and two underground levels
  • Accommodation : 414 students (273 male and 141 female students)
  • Rooms and facilities
    • : Four persons per room (105 rooms: 69 for male and 36 for female students)
    • Personal appliances such as desks, bookshelves, beds, wardrobes, LAN facilities, and operator-assisted telephones may be used.
  • Subsidiary facilities : Cafeteria, rest rooms, shower rooms, laundry, reception rooms, and health rooms

Dormitory #2

  • Subjects : Undergraduate students and graduate students
  • Scale : 24 stories above ground and four underground levels
  • Accommodation :1,066 students (500 male and 554 female students and 12 general persons)
  • Rooms and facilities
    • Two persons per room (533 rooms: 250 for male and 277 for female students and 6 for general persons)
    • Personal appliances such as desks, bookshelves, beds, wardrobes, LAN facilities, and operator-assisted telephones may be used.
  • Subsidiary facilities : Various contemporary welfare facilities

Dormitory #3

  • Subjects : Undergraduate students and graduate students
  • Scale : Five stories above ground and three underground levels (103 rooms), 11,558.45m² of floor area (3,496.43 pyeong)
  • Accommodation : 202 students (76 male and 126 female students)
  • Rooms and facilities
    • One-person room (four rooms) and two-person rooms (99 rooms), desks, bookshelves, beds, LAN facilities, and operator-assisted telephones, etc.
    • Hotel-type independent shower rooms and toilets
  • Subsidiary facilities : Reading room, computer room, and cafeteria, etc.

Graduate dormitory

  • Subjects : Graduate students
  • Scale : 4th, 5th, and 6th floors of boarding house and 4th floor of South Gate Hall
  • Accommodation : Two-person room (33 rooms), three-person room (one room), and four-person rooms (two rooms)
  • Rooms and facilities
    • South Gate Hall (Nine two-person rooms, one three-person room, and two four-person rooms) and boarding house (24 two-person rooms)
    • Desks, beds, wardrobes, shoe boxes, narrow tables, and network connection
