Office
of Academic Affairs was informed with the fact that students had difficulties accessing
to the Webex Network on 20 April (Mon), which caused a number of students fail
to attend their class. OAA had immediately contacted and requested the Webex
Maintenance Subcontractor for an urgent repair on the day. Such connection
error occurred due to a sharp increase of web traffics worldwide.
There
will be a makeup class for any academic loss caused by the Webex server
problem, so please ask your instructor for the supplementary class schedule.
OAA will keep monitoring the Webex Network to have every student participate
the ongoing distance education successfully.

1. 금일 Cisco 서버 과부하로 인해 일부 수업 진행에 어려움이 있었습니다. 교무처에서는 Webex 프로그램 접속 오류 등이 발생함에 따라 관리업체에 연락을 취했으며, 순차적으로 조치중이라는 연락을 받았습니다. Webex 프로그램을 사용하는 학교 및 기업체 등이 전세계적으로 증가함에 따라 접속량이 폭증한 것으로 보입니다.
2. Webex 서버문제로 부득이하게 진행되지 못한 수업은 보강을 실시할 예정이며 보강일시 등 세부사항은 수업 담당교원께 문의주시기 바랍니다. 관리업체와 지속적으로 모니터링하여 향후 이런 일이 발생하지 않도록 최선의 조치를 취하도록 하겠습니다.
