Job Description

Job Purpose

We are currently looking for a Retail Manager as part of our dynamic team and directly reporting to the leader of Korea PFS, the candidate will supervise the stores in designated area to develop the business, maximize operational efficiency, achieve sales target and other KPIs and will have the main Goal to improve the positioning of the Brand within the market.

Core Accountabilities

·         Monitor the market and the movement of major clients & competitors to find new development opportunities

·         Support store’s achieve its annual sales target by implementing prompt and effective commercial actions in line with the PFS strategy

·         Monitor daily operation, make budget plan, set incentive target & service level target on a regular basis.

·         Support finding and making improvements to increase efficiency and achieve KPIs

·         Support analyzing sales forecast and direct store managers to make plans for actions to achieve team’s Goal

·         Support store managers management ; to support various activities such as motivating retail staffs, planning and executing staff development and evaluation.

·         Support and get involved in new retail staff recruitment and management. Finding potential candidates and taking part in organizing training programs with merchandising, HR, and Visual Merchandising Team will be one of the roles.

·         Support communication with the Landlord and relevant party to build long term relationship and share business plans to expand business for the future on better terms.

Requirements

·            Diploma or bachelor’s degree qualifications (business administration major preferred)

·            Experience in fashion industry retail part is preferred

·            Positive and proactive attitude

·            Strong organizational and time management skills

·            Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft office products (outlook, word, excel, powerpoint)

·            Good English language skill

Job Purpose

·         Support a strategic business plan and prepare annual cost budget by account and cost center to roll up at consolidated level

·         Allocate Sales and Store expenses by Store level to support the budget strategy and utilize as analysis tools                                        

·         Support Long Range Plan to achieve company strategic goal in long term view

·         Frequent and continuous communication with business function to drive and achieve planned target and control the unexpected spending

·         Periodic forecasting to reflect adjustment to Budget with high level of accuracy

·         Support, follow up and complete standard reporting tools for regional/corporate report

·         Concrete gap analysis for Budget/Forecast/LY to Actual to deliver the accurate results

·         Monitor & Control periodic cost spending on Store/Overhead expenses to prepare Contingency Plan (R&O)

·         Prepare materials for Additional CAPEX investment to get management’s approval

·         Perform as project leader of on-going system implementation/development

·         Prepare Ad-hoc reports and PPTs for management reporting

Core Accountabilities

·         Monitor & Control periodic cost spending on Store/Overhead expenses to prepare Contingency Plan (R&O)

·         Ad hoc analysis required by regional/corporate level and leading on-going project to be implemented/developed

Requirements

·         Previous finance experience is preferred

·         Understanding of retail and consumer business with department stores/Experience of Fashion industry is preferred

·         Good English skill (both written and oral) to directly communicate with Corp finance

·         Posses excellent computer and analytical skills                                                                                          

·         Strong Adherence to meet the tight deadlines

·         Quick learner who can work independently and adapt to the changes easily 

·         Multi tasker who can handle schedules with low levels of stress and high coping ability                                  

·         Knowledge of International Accounting Standards and US GAAP
