AWS APJ Next Gen Internship Program – South Korea
The AWS APJ teams are looking to hire and develop the next generation of leaders for our organization. We are seeking talented and enthusiastic students who are passionate about solving business problems, innovating and building new processes, and leading high-impact initiatives. The Next Gen Internship Program allows you to gain exposure to the AWS business and our unique Amazonian culture through a rewarding learning experience. For this six months internship, interns will be based in our South Korea office, and will be assigned to one of the following teams.

Subject to the business’ needs, a limited number of opportunities are available in the following teams.

As an intern, you will independently own a key business project that can drive business value, and tasks to support your assigned team. You will hone your leadership and presentation skills, and apply your creativity to innovate for our business. At the end of your internship, all interns will present their project learnings and proposal to a panel of key business leaders.

About the Functions:
1. Sales: The sales teams develop and execute against a territory plan to drive revenue and market share. Our sales teams work directly with customers and drive business growth by articulating compelling value propositions for AWS services, drive customer adoption of AWS, and ensure customer satisfaction.
2. Channels and Alliances: The channels and alliances team recruits, enables, and develops consulting and technology partners to drive their business growth. The AWS Partner Network (APN) is a global partner program that focuses on helping APN partners build successful AWS-based businesses or solutions by providing business, technical, marketing, and go-to-market support. Our consulting partners are professional services firms that help customers design, architect, and migrate their workloads and applications on AWS. Our technology partners provide software solutions that are hosted or integrated on the AWS platform.
3. Sales Strategy, Operations, and Enablement (SSOE): The SSOE team works closely with the management team to develop, implement, and manage business processes, reports and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals.
4. Business Development: The business development team incubates business initiatives with an impact that will shape how the business will look like in the next 5 to 10 years. The team creates go-to-market strategies for identified business opportunities, and collaborates with other functions to implement these strategies to accelerate customer adoption of AWS.

About the team
Our public sector customers are transforming the way government services are developed and delivered via the AWS cloud. The Busan Cloud Innovation Center (CIC pronounced “kick”) team is looking for a technology savvy intern that is passionate about improving the digital experiences for students and citizens and students by enabling digital transformation in the government, non-profit and education sectors through innovative application of cloud technologies.
The Busan CIC has recently launched Innovation Challenge program. through our Innovation Challenge program.
An Innovation Challenge is any problem or opportunity that end customers in public sector deem significant in their community/domain and that relies at least partially on information technologies. Tangible problems such as optimizing utilization of police body camera data, tracking water quality, or sharing city transportation data are examples of potential challenges. The innovation challenge can be thought of as a rapid product development lifecycle opportunity.
As an intern, you will independently own key project streams that can accelerate the implementation of replicable public sector cloud successes. You will collaborate with the CIC team consists of AWSthe Busan CIC Project Manager and other Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency staffs to:
· manage innovation programs and stakeholders;
· organize activities and events such as innovation workshops;
· build startup/entrepreneurship communities;
· support Busan CIC member startups
· collaborate with colleagues around the world to contribute to growth of global network of CICs around the world; and
· develop and execute marketing strategy and activities
Innovation Challenge stakeholders include public sector end customers that share the same mission as well as technology and solution vendors that have applicable solutions. Building on the Amazon ‘working backwards’ approach to innovation, the challenge process can be seen as a strategic business development campaign that engages with the various stakeholders through the our full range of communication mechanisms.
This position requires a motivated self-starter with high ownership and thrives on working in the fast-paced complexity of a rapidly evolving business. The candidate must be detail-oriented, results driven, and be comfortable in managing multiple projects and stakeholders. An understanding of innovation and/or project management principles is an advantage in this role.
You will be a key member of a small AWS team consist of AWS Project Manager and staffs from Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency. An ability to learn quickly and work autonomously is essential.

Partner Management Intern - Professional Services
DESCRIPTION
At AWS Professional Services, we are building a professional services operations team to work on partner management, and to help our partners develop technical expertise and capacity supporting these customers. To help grow and scale this business, we are seeking a Partner management Intern to assist with the operational execution of our Professional Services business. Candidate should be a self-starter with strong analytical, organization, and communication skills.
AWS has a strong culture of data-driven decision-making requiring timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence that delivers significant business value. This is a great opportunity for a creative, dynamic, and results driven specialist to add significant value to the AWS Partner Management team by managing partner data and executing on partner contracts.

Key Responsibilities for Partner management Intern
· Project & Opportunity management: Monitoring project accounting and opportunity hygiene by collaborating with partner managers and practice managers.
· Support business reporting on key performance indicators against annual, quarterly and monthly goals.
· Support business meeting cadence.
· Continuous improvements in operation process and team mechanism: Help launching new operation process or function for team operational enhancement.
· Support both business and technical team for ad-hoc activities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
